Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions, including PCU-level care
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Titrate intravenous drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Manage patients with common diagnoses including cardiac caths, EP studies, pneumonia, sepsis, and acute on chronic conditions

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU or telemetry experience
Proficiency in reading cardiac strips
Epic experience preferred
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Titration of cardiac drips
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to handle PCU-level patient acuity
