Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients across multiple units
• Float within Zone 1 to any of five facilities in the Colorado Springs area, adapting to different patient populations
• Manage patients with diverse diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
• Titrate heparin drips as needed and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (NLC)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities
• Comfortable with quick shift assignments (JIT) and flexible scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with neuro, ortho, oncology, and other medical-surgical specialties
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to titrate heparin drips and manage patient acuity levels
