Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, hands-on care to neuro-rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and complex surgeries
Partner closely with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized recovery plans that truly make a difference
Monitor and manage IV therapy, wound care, and other acute needs while keeping patients and families informed every step of the way
Float to various MedSurg units when needed, broadening your skills and impact across the hospital
Champion patient safety by maintaining sterile technique during procedures and confidently handling lifts, restraints, and wound care

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification
Rehab experience preferred
Comfortable with high-level communication and family-centered care
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed) and complete pass/fail SIMs Lab on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro-rehab patient population expertise
Strong sterile-field technique and infection-control practices
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced unit with busy morning and evening rushes
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient partnership
