Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10-hour shifts available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and independence
Provide care across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, adapting to each patient's unique needs
Support early mobility programs and contribute to the hospital's stroke and joint replacement certifications
Mentor therapy aides and support staff while maintaining the highest standards of patient care

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Ability to float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary patient care
Pediatric and geriatric therapy techniques
Home health and outpatient therapy experience
Early mobility program implementation
Cerner electronic medical records system
