Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatient orthopedic patients using evidence-based interventions
• Perform inpatient evaluations and coordinate care across settings when required
• Document patient care accurately and timely in EPIC
• Design and progress individualized treatment plans, including aquatic therapy when appropriate
• Collaborate closely with PTAs and the rehab team to deliver seamless patient care
• Manage a caseload of roughly 8–12 patients per day while ensuring quality and safety
• Provide patient and family education to maximize recovery and functional outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Colorado PT license (PT license required)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (as listed in job details)
• Comfortable charting in EPIC
• Valid driver’s license and willing to work within a 60-mile radius; ability to be in-state for orientation week
• Team player who can collaborate with PTAs and rehab staff; open to on-the-job training

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient orthopedics and post-operative rehabilitation expertise
• Experience with inpatient evaluations and acute care settings
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EPIC charting
• Aquatic therapy knowledge or willingness to learn
• Blocked scheduling workflows and time management for 45-minute OP sessions
• Ability to manage caseloads of ~8–12 patients/day and prioritize care
