Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to long term care residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident observations
• Support infection control practices and adhere to state vaccination requirements
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Create a safe, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification (MANDATORY)
• Experience in Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (required)
• COVID vaccinations required per state mandate
• Comfortable with shared furnished housing provided (no pets, no smoking) or able to provide your own housing
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate bedside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of long term care resident needs and common chronic conditions
• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADL) assistance and basic patient care
• Familiarity with infection control, documentation best practices, and reporting protocols
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a nursing team
• Basic vital sign measurement and observational assessment skills
