Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Measure, record, and report vital signs and resident observations accurately
• Support mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting needs safely
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in the resident chart
• Communicate changes in resident condition to nurses and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive, person-centered care environment

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable working 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate with a focus on resident dignity

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic nursing care and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safe patient handling
• Accurate charting and attention to detail
• Effective communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
