Location: Humansville, Missouri

Start Date: 07-20-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour days, flexible start between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, 35 guaranteed weekly hours, no weekends or on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions and improve patient outcomes
Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices as part of the rehabilitation plan
Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising PT to adjust treatments accordingly
Document all regulatory and clinical information accurately in the electronic documentation system
Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and facility trainings

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility settings
Active Missouri PTA license (or ability to obtain)
New graduates are welcome if they have completed a Level II clinical rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises
Patient assessment and clinical documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Modalities and supportive/assistive devices
Understanding of regulatory and clinical practice requirements in LTC/SNF
