Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour varied shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend and on-call schedule determined by facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to emergency department patients
Teach patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans
Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize overall patient care

Qualifications

2 years of recent emergency department experience required
Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required (or willingness to obtain)
Oregon RN license required (or willingness to obtain)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in the nursing process and patient care
Excellent teaching and documentation skills
Collaborative team player with interdisciplinary teams
Proficient in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and emergency department acute care
