Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments to help patients regain mobility and independence
- Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's goals and needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
- Document progress and adjust treatments to achieve optimal outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification required
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric rehabilitation
- Ability to use therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
