Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Capture diagnostic x-rays while ensuring patient comfort
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with dentists to deliver comprehensive care
• Uphold strict infection control and sterilization standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Experience with dental software is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and procedures
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental x-rays
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Patient education and motivational interviewing skills
• Time management and organizational abilities
