Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care and collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans
• Sterilize instruments and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia or compact state
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records
