Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Take and interpret dental X-rays while ensuring safety protocols
• Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately
• Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene and preventive care
• Support the dentist chair-side during procedures
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience as a dental hygienist preferred, but new grads are welcome
• Strong attention to clinical detail and patient comfort
• Ability to work flexible per-diem shifts and handle call-off coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of dental hygiene techniques and instrumentation
• Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging safety
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Adaptability to support different providers and settings
