Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures
• Assist orthodontists with chairside procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain patient records and update medical histories

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant (ortho certification required)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent patient communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and equipment
• Skill in chairside assisting techniques
• Proficiency in dental software and records management
• Strong attention to detail and infection control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
