Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists with patient examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms
- Take dental x-rays, impressions, and digital scans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Provide empathetic and reassuring care to patients of all ages
Qualifications
- Certified or licensed dental assistant in the state of Maryland
- Radiology/X-ray certification required
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience highly preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
- Proficient in dental software and patient management systems
- Excellent chairside manners and patient comfort techniques
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail with a steady hand
