Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and prepare patients for treatment
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Support the mental health team in delivering compassionate care to patients
• Coordinate patient appointments and manage front-office tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a clinical setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Proficient in taking vital signs and administering injections
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
