Location: Kennebunk, ME

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient brain injury rehab setting
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to improve mobility, strength, and function
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed
Document patient treatments and progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maine (or compact license eligible)
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
CPR certification required (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Prior experience in outpatient or brain injury rehab preferred, but new grads welcome to apply!

Education

Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and rehab techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
