Location: Bennington, Vermont

Start Date: 06-03-2026

End Date: 09-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Afternoon shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, alternating Wednesdays and Fridays 7:00 AM - 11:30 PM; 14-week contract, 40 hours/week guaranteed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with nurses and aides to ensure quality care
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Support patients' daily living activities with dignity and respect

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Vermont or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care setting preferred
Must be comfortable working afternoon shifts and rotating schedules
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments

Education

Graduation from an accredited LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of EHR systems and documentation standards
Excellent interpersonal and patient advocacy skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Time management and organizational skills
