Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs
Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and health maintenance
Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols
Act as a vital link between patients and the healthcare team, ensuring smooth communication and quality outcomes

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in New Mexico or compact state (NLC accepted)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medication administration
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
