Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:15 AM, 36-hour guarantee, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care using the nursing process
- Develop and update care plans based on patient assessments and responses
- Supervise and delegate tasks to unit staff to ensure quality care
- Provide specialized care for Med/Surg patients including oncology, observation, hospice, and medical-surgical cases
- Document patient progress and collaborate with the healthcare team
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Med Surg experience required
- Med/Surg Observation experience required
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA/Nursys verification)
- Candidates must provide 2 supervisory references from within the last 2 years
- Skills checklist current within 1 year for Med Surg specialty
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Strong patient assessment and care planning skills
- Ability to delegate and supervise effectively
- Experience with Med Surg and observation patient populations
- Current BLS certification
