Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and function
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities as prescribed
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment while ensuring patient comfort
Document patient treatments and responses accurately in medical records
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
Must be comfortable working in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
CPR certification preferred
Prior travel experience is a plus, but not required -- we welcome first-time travelers too!

Education

Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities and exercise techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
Ability to lift and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics
Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Flexibility to adapt to different patient needs and facility protocols
