Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Collaborate with the therapy team to implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments to maximize functional outcomes
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Mexico (or compact eligible)
Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel and work on a contract basis

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in therapeutic exercises and modalities
Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and fall prevention
Ability to adapt treatments to diverse patient needs
Excellent time management and documentation skills
