Registered Nurse - Trauma Surgery
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift Type: Rotating shifts as assigned, no fixed schedule
Candidate Pay Rate: $67.14 - $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to high-acuity surgical and trauma patients, including those with gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
- Manage a patient ratio of 5:1, ensuring personalized attention and safety
- Collaborate with nursing support techs and unit secretaries to deliver seamless care
- Perform thorough nurse handoffs with ED and admitting units to ensure continuity
- Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and patient tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgery or trauma nursing required
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records is a must
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

- Expertise in trauma nursing and medical-surgical care
