Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating weekends required

Candidate Pay Rate: $69.94 - $48.96 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to neuro stepdown patients, monitoring neurological status and managing acute conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, perform assessments, and document using EPIC
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in neuro stepdown or strong med/surg with stepdown experience
Active RN license via Nursys verification
NIHSS certification required at time of application
ACLS and BLS certifications required
EPIC experience required (please note on profile)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neurological assessments and acute care
Proficiency in EPIC documentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
