Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfer needs to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
Support residents with meals and hydration, promoting nutritional well-being
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Engage residents in activities and social interaction to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
Reliable transportation to the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of long-term care and geriatric nursing practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills
Understanding of safety and emergency procedures
