Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of med-surg or telemetry experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
