Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients in critical situations
- Assess and triage patients quickly to prioritize care needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of ER experience strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
- Proficient in IV starts, wound care, and cardiac monitoring
- Excellent assessment and prioritization abilities
- Comfortable working with electronic health records (EHR)
- Team player with a positive attitude
