Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varies - Shift 1: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM (per diem, as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
Collaborate with healthcare team to promote resident well-being
Offer emotional support and companionship to residents

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care principles
Understanding of infection control practices
Ability to use patient care equipment
Strong documentation skills
Time management and organizational skills
Adaptability to different resident needs
