Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data to detect changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
Telemetry monitoring certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
Skilled in IV insertion and medication administration
Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing standards and best practices
Excellent patient assessment and documentation abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
