Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Triage patients efficiently and prioritize life-threatening conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver rapid interventions
Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and medications
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Maintain a calm, organized demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

1+ year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
Active RN license in Illinois (must be currently active)
BLS and ACLS certifications (required; may obtain prior to start)
TNCC and PALS preferred
Must be comfortable with holiday coverage and rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in emergency triage and critical thinking
Skilled in IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
Knowledge of cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency protocols
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to a critical access hospital setting
