Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate physical and functional status including muscle groups, motor function, upper extremity function, ADLs, coordination, and neurological status
• Implement plan of treatment using manual therapy, modalities, therapeutic exercise, and splinting fabrication/modifications
• Document initial evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment, and discharge summaries in compliance with department policies
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pain management, safety, and individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations and work screens as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (AOTA)
• Active Montana Occupational Therapist licensure
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Two years of hospital (inpatient/outpatient) occupational therapy experience preferred

Education

• Graduate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) program

• Sound judgment, patience, and professional demeanor
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency with current computer applications and office equipment
