Shift Type: Sunday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (30 min meal break)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses
Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the healthcare team
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Skilled in observing and reporting changes in patient condition
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
