Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Afternoon shift, 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM (30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
Support mobility and transfers to ensure resident safety and comfort
Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to deliver top-quality care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
Current BLS/CPR certification
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Compassionate, patient, and a great team player
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic medical terminology and vital sign measurement
Infection control and safety protocols
Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
Time management and documentation accuracy
