Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation
Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing standards
Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
