Location: Muscle Shoals, Alabama

Start Date: 07-01-2026

End Date: 09-23-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted LPN license in Alabama (or compact state)
Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Comfortable working night shifts and flexible with scheduling
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and patient assessment
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
Excellent clinical documentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with empathy
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
