Shift Type: Tuesday-Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (with 30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Casa Real
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy
Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop care plans
Document patient information accurately and maintain confidential records
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care

Qualifications

Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license)
At least 1 year of recent LPN experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and commit to a 5-week contract
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
Knowledge of EHR systems and documentation standards
Understanding of infection control protocols and safety procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in fast-paced environments
Empathy and cultural sensitivity when interacting with diverse populations
