Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents including bathing, dressing and mobility assistance
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff to ensure timely interventions
• Assist with meals and feeding, honoring dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and charting with attention to detail
• Support a safe and clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident comfort and quality of life
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kind, respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or T-LNA credential (VT/NH eligible)
• Active state certification or ability to practice in VT or NH for this travel assignment
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Compassionate patient-centered approach and strong teamwork skills
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program (LNA training)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental resident care techniques and ADL support
• Clear, respectful communication with residents, families and staff
• Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with care charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy long-term care environment
