Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and interventions across Livingston and Washtenaw counties
• Develop individualized treatment plans and update goals based on patient progress
• Document clinical care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the rehab team to coordinate safe, timely discharges
• Teach patients and families functional strategies to improve independence and quality of life
• Demonstrate competency through Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and the Trinity Skills Checklist
• Maintain required health and safety standards including fit testing and immunization compliance

Qualifications

• License/Certificate verification required (OT licensure verification will be completed)
• BLS certification required
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Must pass respirator fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, and required immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot) required as part of health screening
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-focused communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in occupational therapy evaluation and intervention techniques
• Familiarity with EPIC for clinical documentation and workflows
• Solid patient care and clinical documentation practices
• Ability to work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams
• Comfort with facility-specific competency testing and documentation
• Good time management and caseload prioritization skills
