Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each person’s story
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that matter
• Deliver therapeutic interventions across the lifespan for conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, nurses, and behavioral health colleagues to ensure coordinated, whole-person care
• Provide clear, timely clinical documentation to support continuity and quality of care
• Coordinate care and referrals to community resources for patients in rural and underserved settings
• Advocate for patients and families to remove barriers to treatment and recovery

Qualifications

• Active LISW license in Iowa (required)
• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program (MSW)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with behavioral health populations
• Experience in rural or medically underserved settings is a strong plus
• Comfort working as part of an integrated care team and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and solid clinical documentation abilities

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
