Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and monitor patient responses
• Perform routine assessments and record vital signs accurately and timely
• Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist as required
• Maintain clear, professional documentation in the patient record
• Follow infection control protocols and support a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Successful License/Certificate Verification prior to start
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required health screenings: fit test, respirator evaluation, 10-panel drug screen, TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA), and required immunizations
• Reliable communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent vocational certificate
• Ongoing continuing education as required by state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and observation skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and charting
• Good time management and prioritization in a dynamic clinical setting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
