Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic examinations while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
• Operate X-Ray and CT equipment following established protocols and radiation-safety practices
• Position patients accurately and ensure optimal image quality for diagnostic review
• Assist CT scanning when needed and collaborate with radiologists and technologists
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and properly route images to PACS
• Perform routine quality checks and basic equipment troubleshooting to maintain imaging standards
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and care teams, including pre-procedure instructions and follow-up

Qualifications

• ARRT (Radiography) certification required
• Nebraska medical radiographer license required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Experience with CT desired
• Willingness to meet traveler performance expectations; contract may be ended if performance standards are not met

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid radiography skills including patient positioning and exposure technique
• Familiarity with CT imaging and cross-sectional anatomy
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Comfortable using PACS and electronic medical record systems
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
