Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiac and vascular procedures, maintaining sterile technique throughout
• Monitor hemodynamics and procedural imaging to support the interventional team
• Circulate to anticipate team needs and keep procedural flow efficient
• Ensure patient safety by verifying equipment, medications, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and techs to deliver excellent care
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and Specialty Specific Competency Testing as required
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond promptly when needed
• Maintain accurate post-procedure documentation and assist with patient handoff

Qualifications

• RCIS or RT(R) credentials preferred (position accepts CVT or Radiologic Tech discipline)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath lab or related cardiac/vascular procedures
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• License/certification verification required
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Influenza, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB testing, fit test, physical, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen)
• Ability to meet facility radius/coverage requirements and participate in on-call rotations

Education

• Completion of a CVT program or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent training
• RCIS or RT(R) credential preferred (if held)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with cardiac and vascular procedures in the Cath Lab
• Proficient in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating roles
• Familiarity with Cath Lab equipment and imaging workflows
• Strong aseptic and sterile field practices
• Clear communication and teamwork under procedural pressure
• Comfortable with competency testing and documentation standards
• Dependable, punctual, and able to respond during on-call shifts
