Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered telemetry care and monitor cardiac rhythms accurately
• Perform assessments, document findings, and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and therapies safely according to facility protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care plans
• Educate patients and families about condition management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and comply with regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California or eligibility to obtain one
• Clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to per-diem scheduling

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Medication administration and IV documentation
• Patient assessment and triage skills
• Electronic medical record (EMR) charting and documentation
• Team collaboration and clear communication with physicians and allied staff
