Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images in a safe and efficient manner
• Prepare patients for MRI exams with clear, compassionate communication and proper positioning
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and respirator/fit test requirements to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure imaging meets clinical needs
• Complete required documentation, image labeling, and basic troubleshooting of imaging issues
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist to maintain clinical excellence
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Active MRI technologist credentials as required by state and facility (license/certificate verification required)
• BLS certification required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as part of onboarding
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 panel drug screen and required health screening items
• Documentation of immunizations and health requirements: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, and 2-step PPD or IGRA
• Successful completion of respirator evaluation and fit testing prior to clinical start

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI imaging techniques and safety practices
• Strong patient care skills with the ability to position and instruct patients of all ages
• Familiarity with imaging documentation and basic image quality assessment
• Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and facility policies
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff
• Comfort with competency testing and ongoing skills validation processes
