Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accurate medication verification and order review for inpatients
• Perform vancomycin, aminoglycoside and anticoagulant dosing and monitoring
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in sterile IV compounding and Pyxis checks
• Conduct pain consults and collaborate with the care team on medication plans
• Manage first dose verifications and maintain emergency medication boxes readiness
• Use Meditech and Dose Edge to document clinical interventions and ensure medication safety

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School required
• Licensed to practice Pharmacy in MO (Missouri) — active, unrestricted license required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant pharmacy experience (per job posting)
• Experience with sterile compounding supervision and IV verification processes
• Familiarity with Meditech, Dose Edge, Pyxis and Pak Edge a plus
• ACLS and BLS preferred; NICU experience is a nice-to-have

Education

• Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School

• Inpatient pharmacy workflows and hospital formulary management
