Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor and document patient status using strong clinical judgment and thorough patient assessment
• Continuously interpret telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in cardiac status
• Provide skilled medical-surgical nursing care, including PICC, vas-cath and temporary catheter removal as indicated
• Use Meditech and unit technologies (Dynamap, glucometer, bladder scanner, iMobile) for accurate documentation and workflow
• Deliver excellent patient experience through hourly rounding, bedside shift report, AIDET and My Care Boards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and post-discharge care to support recovery

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience (per job posting)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong telemetry rhythm interpretation skills
• Comfortable with Meditech documentation system and point-of-care devices
• Dependable team player with excellent communication, flexibility and ability to manage stress
