Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to safety, accuracy, and patient comfort
• Operate and optimize CT (and related imaging) equipment, ensuring diagnostic image quality
• Provide 1:1 patient care during imaging procedures and follow radiation safety protocols
• Document procedures, findings and patient information accurately in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and nursing staff to coordinate patient care
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate technical problems as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• BLS (required)
• ARRT (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (as listed)
• Experience with CT procedures and patient positioning; cross-training in MRI/X-Ray is a plus
• ACLS preferred but not required
• ASRT, FASRT, or RT (T) credentials are nice-to-have
• Experience using Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to work independently, be adaptable, and cover nights/weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) — cross-sectional imaging and protocol selection
• Familiarity with MRI and X-Ray procedures
• Radiology workflows and radiation safety principles
• Proficient with Meditech EMR documentation and imaging workflows
• Strong patient positioning and image post-processing skills
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and independent problem-solving
