Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate care for critically ill oncology and BMT patients in a 10-bed ICU unit
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP patients and perform tracheostomy care with confidence
- Titrate IV drips safely and accurately, following unit protocols and collaborative orders
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including CRRT, A-lines and infusion pumps
- Document patient care thoroughly and efficiently in Meditech EMR
- Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and family members to drive excellent patient outcomes
- Practice total care—turning, dressing changes, and vigilant assessment of rapidly changing conditions
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with active RN licensure (able to work in Texas)
- Minimum 1 year ICU experience (strong ICU experience required)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator management, BiPAP and titrating drips
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- CRRT and transplant (kidney/pancreas/liver) experience are strong pluses
- Comfortable working rotating weekends and within ICU teams
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management and BiPAP support
- Drip titration and vasoactive medication management
- Tracheostomy care and total care of critically ill patients
- Familiarity with CRRT and advanced hemodynamic monitoring (A-line, Flow-track)
- Proficient documentation in Meditech EMR
- Strong critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity settings
