Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate and provide hands-on support for cardiac catheterization procedures to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow
• Prepare and operate cath lab equipment (Philips and Siemens systems) and assist with setup for advanced interventions
• Monitor patients under moderate sedation and perform continuous assessment during procedures
• Document procedures accurately using the Merge documentation system
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs during complex cases such as TAVR, TEER, ECMO, Impella, and endovascular AAA
• Maintain strict radiation safety protocols and uphold infection control standards
• Provide compassionate patient care, education, and post-procedure support to patients and families

Qualifications

• Must have experience circulating in a Cath Lab and performing moderate sedation
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (as listed)
• Comfortable supporting a wide range of procedures (LHC, RHC, EP, TAVR, TEER, etc.)
• Familiarity with Merge documentation preferred

Education

• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• Rad Tech - Radiology specialty (as listed)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflow
• Proficiency with Merge electronic documentation
• Experience with LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral procedures, and endovascular AAA
• Skilled in patient monitoring during moderate sedation and emergent situations
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment and safe radiation practices
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle on-call responsibilities
