Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology and special procedures (Y90, prostate embolization, tunneled catheter placements)
• Prepare and operate procedural equipment including the Philips IR Table
• Support patient care before, during and after procedures with compassion and accuracy
• Document all care and procedure details in Meditech promptly and accurately
• Perform thoracentesis and paracentesis support duties as required
• Participate in call coverage rotation (approximately one week per month) to ensure continuous care

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology)
• Experience with Meditech documentation preferred
• Comfort working day shift procedural hours and participating in call coverage
• Willingness to accept a travel assignment and adapt to a fast-paced unit

Knowledge & Skills

• Special Procedures and Interventional Radiology workflows
• Proficiency with Philips IR Table and procedural imaging equipment
• Meditech documentation and electronic charting
• Procedural support for Y90, prostate embolization, tunneled catheters, thoracentesis, paracentesis
• Strong patient care, aseptic technique, and procedural safety practices
• Effective communication for multidisciplinary teams and patient education
